‘THUMBS UP’ TO BUNBURY!

Bunbury has been named among the top 10 must-see Australian holiday towns.  Travel website Wotif released its inaugural Top 10 Australian Towns of the Year 2018 list on 17 January and the City of 3 Waters and home to the Koombana Bay dolphins was highlighted as a must-see.  The results put Bunbury in at number four in Australia.

Bunbury Geographe Tourism Partnership’s Tourism Marketing and Development Manager, Anissa Williams, said it is very exciting to be the only destination included from Western Australia and above leading tourism places such as Byron Bay, Port Macquarie and Townsville.

“Wotif is Australia’s number one accommodation booking website and part of the world travel conglomerate Expedia Inc; to be recognised by them is priceless,” she said.

“We have a strategic plan to raise the profile of Bunbury Geographe and increase visitor numbers.”

“This highlights we are heading in the right direction.”

Over the next few months the Bunbury Geographe Tourism Partnership will roll out an exciting new brand, plus core marketing tactics such as a Bunbury Geographe magazine, website and touring map.
